但如果教育技术的“技术”太广义了，貌似给教育技术学学科打开了发展空间，但操作上如何教学才能使学生有所专（钻），而不是囫囵吞枣、只涉皮毛？

关于教育技术，可以看一本书：

Anglin, G. J. (ed.), 1995. Instructional technology: Past, present, and future. 2nd ed.

一本很好的教育技术回顾。第三版已经出来了（2010），但我所在学校图书馆还没有收录。

要是不想读太多的书，可以找找两个人的文章：Larry Cuban 和 Henry Becker。两人在90年代论战。比较醒目的文章有

Cuban, L., Kirkpatrick, H., & Peck, C. (2001). High Access and Low Use of Technologies in High School Classrooms: Explaining an Apparent Paradox. American Educational Research Journal, Vol. 38, No. 4, pp. 813—834.

有个 Clark，也是个语不惊人死不休的人：
“The best current evidence is that media are mere vehicles that deliver instruction but do not
influence student achievement any more than the truck that delivers our groceries causes changes in our nutrition.”
