I'm afraid he's nore of a talker tha a doer,which is why(不能用that)he never finishes anything.(只是因为前面有which后面就不能用that吗,这是一个表语从句吗)
见到一个句子you hit her in the face,为什么不直接说:你打了她的脸 you hit her face
You could simply say:"I'm going to put you on hold for a second" 你可以简单说:您得稍得一会,不能说please wait for a second?
I don't want to put you out. I don't want to bother you. /I don't want to cause you any trouble. A:I hope I didn’t put you out. I’m Li Ming with Sunshine Business Corporation.
1)put sb on :让某人接电话 这是一个电话常用语:比如你接了一个电话,对方要找你的同事,你就可以说 wait a moment please, I'll put him on.
2)put sb through:接通电话 put sb. through (to sb.) Please put me through to your Sales Manager. 3)put up or shut up :要不你就去做,不然你就给我闭嘴 有些人总是喜欢耍嘴上功夫, 光说不练, 对这种人不耐烦到极点的时候, 你就可以这样说哦! 想来想去,也许还是自己put up or shut up更简单啦。
